Frequently asked questions

What does the $15,000 setup fee cover?
The one-time setup fee covers custom thesis configuration, CRM integration and data migration, team onboarding sessions, and the initial Scout AI calibration against your historical portfolio. Most firms are fully live within 5 business days.
Are there any limits on users or AI queries?
None. Your retainer covers unlimited seats and unlimited Scout AI queries. Add your entire investment team, advisors, and LPs — there are no per-seat fees or usage caps. We want you to use it as much as possible.
What are the contract and cancellation terms?
Month-to-month with 30 days written notice to cancel. We don't lock you into annual contracts. If you choose to pre-pay annually, we extend a 15% discount on the retainer.
How does Scout AI learn our investment thesis?
During setup, you provide your investment memo, sector focus, stage criteria, and ideally a sample of companies you've passed on and invested in. Scout AI builds a custom scoring model from this and improves every month as you interact with it.
Which CRMs and tools do you integrate with?
Native integrations include Affinity, Salesforce, HubSpot, Gmail, Slack, and the Dealflow Scout Chrome extension. API access and Zapier are included for any custom CRM or workflow. Bulk exports go to Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks.
Is Dealflow Scout secure and compliant?
Yes. We are SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. SSO and advanced role-based permissions are included. Full compliance documentation is available under NDA upon request.
